MARKET ANIMAL PROJECT MEMBERS: ATTENDANCE AT THIS EVENT QUALIFIES AS AN EDUCATIONAL MEETING (TOWARDS YOUR REQUIREMENT OF THREE EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS) TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2017 MARKET ANIMAL SALE!

This Contest test the knowledge of youth in placement of carcass and retail cut classes, carcass grading, retail cut identification and a quiz. This contest occurs annually with the teams traveling to Kansas City, MO and Denver, CO for national competition.  There is a Junior Division as well at the state level.

Please register at the UW-Extension office by February 1, 2017 by calling 715-346-1462 or e-mailing ryan.nelson@ces.uwex.edu. Registration will be through the Extension office, but the $10.00 payments will be made at check-in on the day of the contest (checks made payable to UW-Extension).
