A training session for new 4-H leaders will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in the UW-Extension Conference Room on the second floor of the Portage County Courthouse Annex from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

Adults who would like to become 4-H leaders must enroll in 4-H Online and select “adult” as their role. This is the only way a background check can be conducted before the training. Click-by-click instructions for enrolling as a new adult volunteer are available here. 

Attendance at one of these sessions is mandatory for first-year 4-H Leaders. The process also involves signing a list of volunteer behavior guidelines and completion of online mandatory reporter training.
